Cycling Instructor Jeff will empower kids with physical and mental exercise, teach them safe riding skills for transportation and recreation and will give them a life skill that adds self-confidence, independence, and fun times with friends. Bring your bike & helmet if you have one. Loaner bikes and free helmets available for participants who need them.

The Zone
Located at the Buellton Rec Center. The fully equipped game room at the Buellton Rec Center. Youths in grades 6-12 can hang out with friends, play games, and socialize in a safe, supervised environment.
So you want to be a Zonie!?!?!
- The Zone is a supervised after school game center & hang out area
- Available to students from all schools grades 6th and up
- Open Mondays 1:30-6:00pm, Tuesday – Friday 3:10-6:00pm
- $1.00 per entry, Punch cards are available for purchase at the Rec Center front office or online. (No advance sign-up necessary)
- Homework time is encouraged but not mandatory, internet and computer are available
- Vending Machine items for $1.00-$1.50 available for purchase
- Bad language and/or bullying will not be tolerated & may result in suspension from The Zone
- No electronics allowed, there is a phone available at The Zone for phone calls home
- Special fields trips & event opportunities are occasionally offered for an additional fee
- All students must have a youth registration form filled out, forms are available at the Rec Center office or can be filled out online at buelltonrec.com under “Register”
